Enjoy a program with Vegetarian/Vegan Personal Chef, Cooking Instructor and Food Coach Chef Giulia on Thursday, March 23 at 6:30 pm on the benefits and challenges of incorporating more plant-based foods into your diet. There are health, physical, emotional, and lifestyle changes after middle age, and it is important to take one’s diet into consideration.
The focus will be on nutrient-dense, simple to prepare, tasty foods you can make in your own kitchen from common ingredients found in local groceries, with an emphasis on foods that are lower in salt, sugar, and fat, and higher in fiber and pre- and probiotics. Ideas for updating familiar recipes will be offered. Helpful resources will be provided and samples of health-providing plant-based foods will be available for tasting.
