A club for middle schoolers in grades 6-8 who are interested in science, technology, engineering, art and math. Join us every Monday for a different art project, craft, science experiment or activity. This Monday, we will construct haunted houses for peeps out of candy!
Hiram College Professor Laci Fiala will share statistics and trends on drug use and abuse in the Midwest, with an emphasis on rural America. Additionally, major contributors to the problem of drugs in rural America will be explored, such as educational attainment, employment, poverty, and isolation. No registration is required. Adults 18+.
Zenning will be leading a Gentle Yoga session here at Kent Free Library. Gentle Yoga involves slow movements, meditation, and breathing techniques. All experience levels are welcome! Registration is required and begins Monday, October 2 at 9:00 am. For adults 18+.
During Main Street Kent’s Rainbow Weekend, enjoy free showings of three award winning LGBTQIA+ films. Popcorn and light refreshments will be provided. Films will be shown with captions. No registration required. For adults 18+.

When Gabriel, the new kid in town, teams with Leo on a school project, new feelings blossom in him that make him reconsider his plans. Meanwhile, Giovana, grows jealous of this new found companionship as tensions mount between her and Leo.

Students in grades 3-5 are invited to join us on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. for science experiments, crafts or games! When registering, please list the grade entering for the 2023-2024 school year. Registration is required weekly and begins one week in advance of each meeting.
