Dec. 24 – 26: Library Closed for Christmas Holiday

Drawing of a snowman reading a bookIn observance of the Christmas holiday, the library will be closed Saturday, December 24 through Monday, December 25.  As always when the library is closed, no items will be due and no fines will be assessed on overdue items.  For your convenience, you may return materials either in the drop box to the left of the parking lot entrance or through the drive through.

Sunday, Dec. 18 at 2:00 pm: Concert Series: The Bluestones

Performing in Northeast Ohio for over 25 years, the Bluestones are a four piece band who have performed over 1800 shows, including serving as house band for Fat Fish Blue in Cleveland. Enjoy hearing the Bluestones play the finest in classic blues, rock, and country on the Library’s second floor balcony. No registration required. All ages are welcome.

The Concert Series is generously supported by the Friends of Kent Free Library.

Saturday, Dec. 10, 11:00 am: Deck Your Diorama!

Families with children in grades K-8 are invited to design and construct their own holiday or winter themed diorama! Enjoy a morning together at the library creating a festive scene using a variety of craft supplies. Please bring your own shoe box if you are able. One diorama per family. Registration is required and begins one week in advance. Space is limited.
