Group of TweensTween Zone

Students in grades 3 – 5 can conduct science experiments, make crafts, play games and more!

Registration is required and begins one week in advance of each session. Registration closes at 9 pm the Wednesday before each program. Space is limited.

Fantasy fans in grades 5-8 are invited to join us for our Other Worlds Book Club. The group has chosen to read the epic and engrossing series Septimus Heap, which we’ll explore with book discussions, activities, and crafts.

Read Together Book Group

Tuesday, November 7 at 7:00 pm: Star Wars: A New Hope, The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy by Alexandra Bracken

Readers in grades 3 through 5, and an adult, are invited to join the Read Together book group! The goal of this reading group is to encourage reading and child/caregiver interaction.  Participants will read one book per month, then meet to discuss the book and choose the next title.

Registration is required and begins one week in advance of each meeting. Registration closes at 9 pm the Monday before each program. Space is limited.


Ready, Set, Draw!

Wednesdays, October 25, and November 29  at 6:00 pm

Are you a serious artist?  Maybe you have never picked up a drawing pencil.  Either way, come explore and develop your artistic talents at the library.  Each one-hour session will begin with a prompt and end with a masterpiece.  All art materials will be provided by the library.

For ages 8 through 12.  Registration is required and begins a week in advance of each program. Registration closes at 9:00 pm the Tuesday before each meeting. Space is limited.
