tweenTween Zone

This evening program is for students in grades 3-5. Every week students will make a fun craft or perform a science experiment.

Tween Zone meets at 7:00 pm on the following Thursdays:

September 18: Tornado in a Bottle
September 25: Tissue Paper Bowls
October 2: Project Funway
October 9: No Tween Zone
October 16: Tween Trivia Contest
October 23: Marshmallow Madness
October 30: Mini Pumpkin Decorating
November 6: Candy Science
November 13: Beaded Creations
November 20: Pudding Pictionary

Registration is required and begins one week in advance of each program. Registration closes at 9:00 pm on Wednesday of each week.  Programs are subject to change.

pizzaPizza & Pages

Teens in grades 6-12 may pick up a free paperback copy of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs at the desk in the DuBois Children’s Reading Room any time after September 1 and register for Pizza and Pages which will meet on Saturday, November 29 at 12:00 pm in the Craft Room over Thanksgiving Break to discuss the book.

Registration is required. One copy of the book per registered teen. Space is limited.

Teen Scene

Teens in grades 6-12 join us to make a craft on the following Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Craft Room.

October 14: Edible Haunted Houses
November 11: Pudding Pictionary
December 9: DIY Ornaments
