The 2016 Summer Reading Program wrapped up on July 30. 683 students participated, and 222 students completed 20 hours of reading!  Walls School had the most students sign up.  The Snow Leopard won the Care for a Critter Contest, so the library will donate to “adopt” him from the Akron Zoo this year.

Over 200 adults and kids enjoyed the final party on July 30, with live music from steel drum band Dog Friendly, crafts, games, face-painting, walk-chalking, cookies donated by Insomnia Cookies, and a visit from the Cleveland Indians mascot, Slider!
