RFID-TagThe Kent Free Library is seeking adult volunteers to assist with a project to re-RFID every item in the collection.  New RFID tags will improve the efficiency of checking out materials.

Those interested in volunteering are invited to an orientation meeting on Tuesday, July 22 at 7:00 pm in the library’s meeting room.  Volunteers should also complete a Volunteer Application.

The project will begin in early August and last for at least 3 months.  Shifts will be 2 or 3 hours during regular library hours on Mondays and Tuesdays.  Volunteers should be able to lift, bend, and stretch, and to walk or stand for most of their shift.

For more information about the project, please contact Community and Special Services Manager Kristen Pool at [email protected] or 330.673.4414.
