The Library is partnering with Goodwill Industries of Akron to offer workshops on resume writing and online job searching this winter. These 4-day, 1 hour workshops will be taught by Mick Rogers, Goodwill’s Community Relations Specialist.
The next workshop is offered Monday, February 23 through Thursday, February 26 from 5 – 6 p.m. in the library computer lab. The schedule is as follows:
Monday: Introduction to Resume Basics
Tuesday: Writing a Resume Using Microsoft Word
Wednesday: Using the Ohio Means Jobs Website
Thursday: Uploading Your Resume & Resume Tweaks
