The Kent Free Library has partnered Mick Rogers of Goodwill Industries of Akron to present a resume workshop on Monday, March 23 through Thursday, March 26 from 5 – 6 pm. The schedule is as follows:
Monday: Introduction to Resume Basics
Tuesday: Writing a Resume Using Microsoft Word
Wednesday: Using the Ohio Means Jobs Website
Thursday: Uploading Your Resume & Resume Tweaks

In addition, Diana Miller of the Community Job Club, Inc. (CJC) will be offering a monthly meeting for job seekers. The group will meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month 4:30 – 7 pm.
CJC is open to job seekers and career changers, as well as to professionals who wish to offer advice and support to job seekers. CJC’s goal is to improve the job search experience of professionals in the NEO area by providing resources, connections, and motivation.
