The Cleveland Museum of Art returns to the library on Wednesday, July 8 at 6:30, bringing a world of great art. See and touch amazing works of art up to 4,000 years old when museum staff visit, bringing genuine art objects from the museum’s collection of classical art of ancient Greece and Rome.
All ages are invited to this unique hands-on experience and lively discussion about ancient art’s cultural connections to modern Western culture. Genuine artifacts that will be passed around for viewing included ancient Greek pottery and sculpture, and Roman implements used in daily life activities.
Registration is requested and spaces are limited. Please call the Information Desk at 330.673.4414 to register. Enhance your experience by reviewing the museum’s resource packet before the presentation.
