All ages are invited to an afternoon of hands-on fun at the Kent Free Library on Sunday, April 10 at 2 p.m., when local instrumental group Copali presents a free concert with steel drums, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, bass, and percussion. Copali performs a wide variety of styles including funk, jazz, fusion, classical, Latin, rock, and more!
Copali’s musicians will give a brief history of all of their instruments and demonstrate creative ways to combine styles and instruments. They’ll also explain their exciting improvisation style, and the audience will get to join in (instruments provided)!
Copali will also be performing original music from their debut album. Do not miss your chance to hear one of Northeast Ohio’s best rising musical groups!
No registration is required; however because space is limited, audience members must pick up a pass at the 2nd floor information desk beginning 30 minutes before the event.
