TED (Technology, Entertainment Design) Talks have become a popular way for people to learn about and share “ideas worth spreading.” The Kent Free Library is one of the few public libraries in Ohio that has received a TEDx program license to host TED-style events, designed to spark deep conversation and
connections at the local level.
The library’s first TEDx event, Love Your Mother—Earth Day,” will be held on Wednesday, April 20 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Watch three engaging TED Talks on bees, bats, and seed saving. After the screening, participate in a moderated discussion.
The discussion will also highlight the Kent Free Library’s own Seed Library, a free service for community members.
Spaces are limited for this free program. Please register by calling the library
