batJamey Emmert from the ODNR Division of Wildlife offers a free all-ages presentation on the fascinating creatures of the night  on Wednesday, June 8 at 6:30 pm.

Bats are remarkable critters that need us as much as we need them. The 11 bat species in Ohio eat thousands of irritating insects each night, which helps keep us more comfortable and farmers happy with healthy crops. The only mammals that can fly, bats are crucial to the health of Planet Earth; but some species’ populations are declining.
