To celebrate the end of a successful Summer Reading Program, we invite all ages to have a ball with a variety of free family friendly events and activities based on the themes “On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!” and “Exercise Your Mind: Read!” which will be held throughout the library on Saturday, July 20 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Enjoy a drop in craft, sports-themed games, and a photobooth in the Dubois Children’s Reading Room. Illustrator Dan Gorman will inspire budding artists to “Chalk the Walk” under the Main Street portico, and a face painter will be on hand. And the Cleveland Indians’ Mascot, Slider, will be coming from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm to meet with kids and their families–get your photo taken with Slider!
Music will be provided by steel drum band Friendly Dog, and adults can exercise their minds with a trivia contest at 1 p.m. in the meeting room.
No registration required.
