The Library’s next TEDx event, “What Are You Afraid Of,” will be held on Thursday, October 28 at 6:30 pm. Watch three engaging TED Talks on how fear drives American politics, what fear can teach us, and how to overcome fear in order to learn. After the screening, participate in a moderated discussion.
TED (Technology, Entertainment Design) Talks have become a popular way for people to learn about and share “ideas worth spreading.” The Kent Free Library is one of the few public libraries in Ohio that has received a TEDx program license to host TED-style events, designed to spark deep conversation and connections at the local level.
Spaces are limited for this free program. Please register by calling the library Information Desk at 330.673.4414.
