Applications are now being accepted by the Kent Board of Education from people interested in being considered for appointment on the Kent Free Library Board of Trustees.
The Board of Education makes one appointment annually to the seven-member library board. Kent residents interested in the non-paying position may obtain an application at the Kent Free Library Information Desk during regular library hours. The term now filled by Karen Beck expires on December 31, 2017.
Application should be returned to the Kent Free Library no later than 12:00 noon on Friday, October 13, 2017.
The Board of Trustees serves as a supervisory body overseeing the general operations and budget of the library.
