The library’s 13-week Winter Story Time Session begins January 2. Nine different story times will be offered for babies, preschoolers, and toddlers, and several story times are geared for all ages. Story Times are led by professional librarians, all of whom have been trained in early childhood literacy.

No pre-registration is necessary for Story Times; arrive a few minutes early to pick up a “boarding pass.” Some sessions have limited space.

Children in grades 5 and under can play the library’s Winter Reading Road Trip. Visit the Dubois Children’s Reading Room to pick up a map, then read books about or by authors from different states. Earn a coupon for a free children’s beverage from Tree City and a grand prize entry after reading 5 books. Read additional books before March 2 for more grand prize entries.

Additional programs are offered through the week for children, tweens, and teens.
