The Friends of Kent Free Library will hold their spring books sale April 19 – 21 on the first floor of the library. For sale will be books, audiobooks, magazines, music CDs, and DVDs for adults and children that have been donated by community and that have been withdrawn from the library’s collection.
Friends of KFL members are invited to a preview sale on Thursday, April 19 from 5 – 8 p.m. Memberships may be purchased at the door and are $5 for individuals and $3 for students or seniors. Regular sale hours are Friday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Cash or check are accepted. All proceeds go to the Friends of KFL and support library programs and services. This year, Friends have donated $6,000 to the library, including support for the monthly music program, craft supplies and equipment for adult programs, a train table and a magnetic table for the Children’ Room, and a tablet for use in children’s programs. They will also provide support for the Summer Reading Program.
