Enjoy a free screening of an environmental film followed by a discussion. The evening is cosponsored by the City of Kent Sustainability Commission and Standing Rock Cultural Arts.
April’s film is by Young Blood Productions and chronicles the experiences of American journalist, Katie Young, who leaves her job to search for a more promising future by traveling to New Zealand to learn about Permaculture. Watch Young navigate through a foreign country, while conflicting with her ideals and American standard of living, trying to combine modern convenience with sustainability. (Due to licensing restrictions, the library cannot publish the titles of the movies that will be shown.)
