As part of our Summer Reading Program theme, “A Universe of Stories,” the library will offer a program on the search for water on Mars . Water is essential for life on Earth, which is why NASA’s motto in its hunt for extraterrestrial life has been “follow the water.” Learn why water is so essential for human life and the implications for life on Mars if scientists do—or don’t—find water on the planet. Participants will design their own water bottles.
