Meet Bill Blair, Guinness World Book Record holder for ‘most special effect make-up characters portrayed in a career.’ Bill is a Kent native, KSU graduate, and actor who specializes in playing aliens from other worlds.
Blair has appeared on Babylon 5 and Star Trek: Deep Space 9. In addition, he has been in Sliders, as well as Star Trek: Voyager, Enterprise, The X-Files, The Invisible Man, Drew Carey, Family Law, The District, Crossing Jordan, Providence, King of Queens, Will and Grace, Yes, Dear!, Friends, Desperate Housewives, Criminal Minds, and as a regular on The Division and the HBO Series Carnivale. More recently, Bill has appeared in Blades of Glory, Saving Grace, Justified, Raising Hope, iCarly, The Defenders, How I Met Your Mother, NCIS, and Mad Men.
Blair will discuss how he came to be such a prolific actor, his experiences on set and at conventions, and what it is like to sit for 3 hours while having artists paint, glue, and spray him with various substances to turn him into aliens and other fantastic creatures. Bill will also bring memorabilia and photographs from some of his gigs.
