Kent State Associate Professor of Art Education Dr. Linda Hoeptner-Poling teaches simple bookmaking and reflective activism. Construct a beautiful book with simple materials inspired by Joy Harjo’s An American Sunrise. We can be the change we envision, no matter our age or ability. In the books, participants will have the option to illustrate and write responses to provided prompts that empower us to envision an inclusive future. All supplies will be provided. No registration required.
