Along with Kent City Schools, we believe that students should have access to books even when school libraries are closed for the summer. The Rough Riders Read program consists of 4 events organized by the School Media Specialists, during which students can pick out a free book. The events are held at various locations around Kent.
Again this summer, KFL will sponsor a performer for the first Rough Riders Read on Tuesday, June 11 at 5:30 at Dan Smith Community Park. Jason and Stacy Alan will perform a fun and interactive magic show! No registration is required to attend this event.
