Our new Silent Book Club brings readers together! There’s no required reading–just bring a good book and read it in companionable silence while enjoying coffee or a snack. After 45 minutes of quiet reading, you can stay and socialize, get and share some reading recommendations, or be on your way!
The Kent Silent Book Club will meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm at The Cleveland Bagel Cafe, 436 E. Main St in Kent. Registration is requested, but drop ins are welcome. For adults 18+.
The basic schedule:
2:00 – 2:15 pm: Arrival, purchase snacks, and welcome
2:15 – 3:00 pm: Quiet reading
3:00 – 4:00 pm: Optional socializing or more reading (the Cafe closes at 4:00)
