Are you a serious artist? Maybe you have never picked up a drawing pencil. Either way, come explore and develop your artistic talents at the library. Each one-hour session will begin with a prompt and end with a masterpiece. All art materials provided by the library. For kids in grades 1 – 6. Registration is required and begins one week in advance of the program.
A box of bookish surprises for teens enrolled in grades 9-12! Each month will feature a different theme and contain books and treats for you to enjoy. Register online to receive a Teen Book Box, and pick it up from the Children’s Room starting on the 1st of each month. December’s theme is Winter Vibes!
Between November 24 through December 1, come to the Children’s Department to be part of a giant, community Christmas tree painting project! Any person, no matter their age, can complete a small portion of a Christmas tree mural. No painting experience required. Participants will use washable watercolors and their fingers to paint. No registration required.
In observance of Thanksgiving Day, the library will close at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22. The library will also be closed all day Thursday, November 23.
The library will reopen with regular hours on Friday, November 24 at 9:00 am.
As always when the library is closed, no items will be due and no fines will be assessed on overdue materials. For your convenience, items may be returned using the drop boxes to the left of the parking lot entrance or by using the drive through.

Students in K-6 grade are invited to join us at the library from 4 to 4:45 p.m. for Books and Cooks. This week, we’ll be making brownies in the microwave! During each meeting we will make a recipe together and a librarian will share a story with participants.
