Monday, Dec. 5 at 7:00 pm: DIY Hot Cocoa for Teens

Students in grades 6-8 are invited to join us while we jazz up regular hot chocolate with an array of different mix-ins and see what combination is your favorite! Registration is required and begins one week in advance. Space is limited.

Thursday, Dec. 1: Season’s Readings: Winter Reading Program Begins

Celebrate the winter by reading! Youth from birth to age 17 are invited to participate in our Winter Reading Program! Participants may visit the library to pick up a Winter Reading Record. Each record has strips of paper for you to write the titles of books you read between December 1, 2022 and March 3, 2023. Fill in your name and phone number on the back of the slips of paper. Once you have completed an entire page of strips, bring it back to the library. Each completed strip will be added to our Season’s Readings paper chain at the library and will be entered to win a grand prize!
Adults can participate too!  Pick up snowflakes at the Information Desk, and write the title of each book you read, plus your name and phone number on the back.  Each snowflake becomes a decoration for the desk and a ticket for the grand prize drawing–a comfy fleece blanket with the KFL embroidered on it!
