For library cardholders residing within the Kent City School District, the Kent Free Library will deliver library materials to your home if you are unable to leave home due to a permanent homebound condition, or a temporary condition that will last for six weeks or more (please note that lack of transportation alone is not a valid reason to request delivery).

The Community Services Manager will conduct a brief interview with you about your material preferences and arrange a mutually beneficial delivery schedule.

The Community Services Manager will then select books and other library materials specifically for you and deliver them to you door.

For library cardholders residing outside the Kent City School District, the Library offers Homebound Selection Service.

The Community Services Manager will interview you about your material preferences and arrange a pickup schedule.  You can then designate a responsible adult to pick up, deliver, and return your library materials.
