May 24 – August 2

Children in preschool through 12th grade may sign up in the Dubois Children’s Reading Room. They will receive an official reading record to use to track the reading they complete throughout the summer. Participants will record time spent reading in 15-minute increments, and will earn one point for every minute of reading they finish. Participates can complete reading independently or with others. Please note that time spent reading prior to May 24 is not eligible.

Children can also earn points by attending library programs and completing Challenges. Points can be spent on Care for a Critter votes, “Buy Now!” prizes that can be taken home same day, or on Grand Prize Drawing entries. All drawings will be held on Monday, August 4 and winners notified at that time. The final day to participate in the program is Saturday, August 2.
