Meet children’s author, Marcy Campbell! Ms. Campbell will join us to talk about her most recent picture book and 2024 Ohioana Award winning book, “The More You Give.” Attendees will hear how Ms. Campbell began writing, how “The More You Give” came about and she will also read the book to the audience. Marcy Campbell is the recipient of the Ohioana Award, the Comstock Read Aloud Award, the Crystal Kite Award and the CLC Book Award from Frostburg State University, as well as the Huckepack Prize in Germany. Her picture books have been selected for the Junior Library Guild and named a Best Children’s Book of the Year by Bank Street College and National Public Radio. In addition, “Adrian Simcox Does NOT Have a Horse” was an independent bookstore bestseller. Her debut middle-grade novel, “Rule of Threes,” was selected by the State Library of Ohio for the Choose to Read Ohio list for 2023-2024.
